The Happiness System

So you're probably wondering how this whole happiness thing is going to work, especially for people who have Pokemon that need to evolve from happiness. Well welcome to the Happiness System. This system will explain how happiness works in this forum.

So we made this little thing called the "happiness gauge". This gauge has ten meters; each meter counts as "1" happiness point. Once the meter reaches to ten you have earned the full happiness meter! Yay! That means that whatever Pokemon that evolves from happiness can now evolve! Here are some ways on how to raise the happiness gauge.

- Buying things that make your Pokemon happy. This can be items, or even treats for your Pokemon.
- Winning in a Pokemon battle with the Pokemon

And that's basically it so far. It is required that all Pokemon have a happiness gauge even if they don't evolve from happiness. Why? Because moves such as Return and Frustration will have a great affect on that. Pokemon such as Umbreon and Espeon who need Pokemon at specific times of the day we'll do the same, except for that time of the day. Check the Daily Life guide in the "Rules and Roleplay Stuff" section in order to figure the time of the day and such.

There are also some things that sadly, can decrease the happiness gauge. Here is the list.

-Losing in a Pokemon battle with your Pokemon
-Being rude to your Pokemon or disrespecting it
-Pokemon Abuse
-Not letting your Pokemon out of your Pokeball or keeping it in the PC for over 3 months.

Make sure to not let these things happen to your Pokemon and your Pokemon will be super joyful.
